About My Portraits and Weddings

Portraits

My portrait work is often done in the studio and just as easily I can create great images for you on location. I have a variety of backdrops and lighting options to create the look best for you. All my shoots are posted to my online gallery/ordering system and easily accessed from any computer. The images are ready for your viewing within 2 business days of the shoot, or sooner if specified. You'll be able to easily search your images for the ones I recommend.

You can order prints or digital files for your use. I am a perfectionist about your image and I make sure you always look your best.

Weddings

My work is photojournalistic-style wedding photography. I document the moments and the details that weave the fabric of the wedding day.

I believe that the job of the photographer is to be there when you need them, be quick, and be precise. A beautiful wedding needs a photographer with an eye for moments that define the event. Someone with an eye for the details you put so much thought into planning. And an artistic eye to combine all of those elements together with a style to bring it all to life, every time you look at your wedding photographs.

I have over 15 years of experience photographing weddings in the documentary tradition. In that time, I've developed a complete style and a sense of wedding photography design. This style and design is the foundation of the studio and is the basis for the selection and the training of my Associate Photographers. The work is consistent in the principles and quality from photographer to photographer and continues through the album design process.

Amy & Jim: Passionist Monastery and Wyndham Glenview Suites

Amy’s Uncle is a minister at Passionist Monastery in Chicago and so they had their simple but elegant ceremony there. We then went to the Wyndham Glenview Suites for the reception. We dodged a thunderstorm and were able to take some beautiful shots outside. I’m so glad the weather worked out for everyone!
