Theresa & Mark: St. Josaphat’s and Germania Place

Theresa’s day began at the house she grew up in, just a block away from her ceremony, at St. Josaphat Church in Lincoln Park. From there we threw caution to the wind and got some fun photos at North Avenue Beach along the lakefront. And then it was off to Germania Place for the reception. Germania Place has to be one of the grandest and warmest places for a reception in Chicago. As you can see, it was quite a party! Congratulations Theresa and Mark!

I love this shot Kate got of Theresa's Mom during the preparation at the house.

Mark's Uncle's band, Park Place, came in from Cleveland and rocked the house.

As a photographer, you have to love any place with a balcony!

Theresa's Grandma was a powerful force on the dance floor.

Koula and Tony: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and Empress Banquets

Koula and Tony had a traditional Greek Orthodox Ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago. Greek ceremonies are always a photographer’s dream: not only are they beautiful, with wonderfully bright and ornate church settings, but everything important is done three times! 3 cameras, 3 angles, 3 ideas for every shot.

Their reception was at Empress Banquets in Addison, IL. Great colorful lighting gave the images some extra pizzaz. And Koula and Tony were wonderful hosts for their friends and families.

Lindsey and Jason had a great wedding. They began their day at Lindsey’s Aunt’s House and then had a sweet ceremony at St Hilary Parish in north Chicago. Their reception was at the beautiful Ridgemoor Country Club. Jason’s love of golf played into their reception choice and Lindsey’s great taste played into every part of their wedding!

I love this photograph that Nicole got of the bridesmaids waiting to come down the aisle.

The David Rothstein Orchestra played great and had a lot of fun with the crowd.
